Thank you for logging onto our website! Our practice offers the services of a Prosthodontist, Dr. Charles Bloom, and General Dentist, Dr.Gari Bloom. Dr's. Bloom and Bloom and their staff put tremendous effort into having the patient experience at 815 Livingston Avenue be a positive one and it is evident from the attitudes of our family of patients and other referring dentists that we are indeed a "Center for Excellence in Dentistry." This experience begins right at our front desk, or on the phone, where patients are greeted by our warm and courteous office manager, Ms. Barbara Levy, or her assistant, Ms. Patricia Monticchio. From there, patients meet our dental assistants, either Irina Goral, Barbara Fink or A.J. These individuals are all very experienced professionals who are working in our practice because of their levels of skill, caring and committment to your satisfaction. Also part of this team are our hygienists, Ms. Dorothy Jennings and Ms. Joyce Gibbons, both of whom have worked with Dr.'s Bloom and Bloom for many years. You will be refreshed by their personalities, and impressed with their skills and credentials. What is a Prosthodontist?

After completing dental school, prosthodontists receive three additional years of specialized training in tooth restoration and preservation, creation of tooth replacements, and the dynamics of a smile. They function as the architects of your dental treatment plan, working closely with your general dentist, and, if necessary, other specialists. Together, this team will create for you a personalized treatment plan that will help you achieve optimum dental health and gain the smile you've always wanted.

Office Overview
This practice has been in existence for almost 50 years. Until 1986, Dr. Hyman Weiss, a very fine General Dentist, was the sole proprietor. Dr. Charles Bloom entered the practice in July, 1986, and assumed ownership when Dr. Weiss retired shortly thereafter. Dr. Gari Bloom (Dr. Charles' wife)joined the practice after completing her General Practice residency in 1987. In 1989, Dr. Charles entered the graduate program in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. He continued to work in this practice part time until he received his Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1993, when he was able to resume a full time schedule. The Center for Excellence in Dentistry is located in New Brunswick, NJ, at 815 Livingston Avenue. Livingston Avenue is a broad boulevard that, in our location, runs through a residential and small business neighborhood.
